reUSD and reUSDe token holders have no direct legal claim on trust assets, they receive a fixed yield. RE staking rewards exist but are drawn from the fixed Ecosystem allocation and are characterised as participation incentives, not yield.

RE stakers can vote on smart contract upgrades, technical permissions, staking and bonding mechanics, committee formation, and transparency standards. Holders cannot govern underwriting, treaty pricing, claims decisions, reserve views, trade-by-trade treasury execution, or anything inside the regulated reinsurer.

Holders stake RE to vote on protocol upgrades, staking parameters, committee formation, and transparency standards. Yield is earned separately by holders of reUSD and reUSDe, which carry no governance rights.
