- wSPYx is the ERC-4626 wrapped version of SPYx (SP500 xStock). It wraps SPYx into a standardized vault-share token to enable DeFi composability such as use as collateral in lending markets, automated strategies, and other yield protocols. Each wSPYx represents a share claim on deposited SPYx. Underlying real-world exposure, redemption mechanics, and reference price tracking are inherited from the underlying SPYx xStock issued by Backed. The wrapper does not rebase, so its share-to-underlying ratio grows with the xStocks multiplier, making it a total-return tracker rather than a price-parity tracker.
