Backpack

Staking BP unlocks access to reduced trading fees, free wire transfers, additional yield and an equity exchange after 1 year of staking. After staking for a period of one year, staked BP can be exchanged for non-voting equity in special-purpose vehicles that hold shares in the Backpack operating companies. Staking beyond 1 year earns bonus equity from an additional pool, accruing over the following 3 years. Backpack Exchange reserves sole discretion over staking tiers & benefits and what counts as an "Exit Event".

BP has no governance rights. Backpack makes all decisions, including staking tiers, benefits and what counts as an “Exit Event.”

BP is the utility token of Backpack. Staking BP unlocks lower trading fees, yield, free wires and the potential to purchase Backpack equity using tokens.
